DESIGN
The ultimate in ground covering performance and efficiency the BT310 track system offers a class leading 500mm of ground clearance to cover the most extreme terrain. Ideal for utility line clearing, vegetation management, maintenance contractors, waterway and rail clearing the BT310 shares the same legendary bones as the BT300 but in a tracked form which ensures efficiency and safety while reducing operating and maintenance costs.
DESIGNED IN AUSTRALIA
Built for the toughest conditions. This includes that all operating functions & switchgear are performed on the LHS of the machine, making it safer for the operators when using the chipper parked on the side of a road in Australia (or any RHD country).
POSI-ARC INFEED ARM PIVOT
Our design means that the large top infeed wheel aggressively climbs towards the in-coming timber, up and on top of the trunks and brush through the natural ‘positively inclined’ arc that our feed arm design provides. This makes for a far stronger feeding action than alternative infeed designs, allowing the Piranha to pull in difficult branches and twisty timber with ease. The hydraulic lift & crush also aides in feeding difficult timber sections into the chipping drum, and with a 380mmH X 500mmW opening large timber is easily processed.

PIVOT DESIGN
INFEED ARM
Our ‘Posi-Arc’ infeed arm pivot design means that the large top infeed wheel aggressively climbs towards the incoming timber, up and on top of the trunks and brush through the natural ‘positively inclined’ arc that our feed arm design provides. This makes for a far stronger feeding action than alternative infeed designs, allowing the Piranha to pull in difficult branches and twisty timber with ease. The hydraulic lift & crush activates automatically and aids in feeding difficult timber sections into the chipping drum.
CHIPPER DRUM
ACCESS
The chipper drum access hood completely exposes the top of the drum when opened, making changing the knives very easy with no extension bits required for the torque wrench to reach down to the bolt head height.
STAGGERED
4-KNIFE CHIPPER DRUM
Designed in-house by the Piranha team with integrated high-velocity fans ensure a superior chipping action and very strong chip discharge. The replaceable bolt blocks ensure that the drum does not suffer integrity damage if the blades encounter foreign material fed into the machine and can be easily replaced if required.
